Using Mathematica as an Interface to an Interactive Graphics Program

Volume 1, Issue 2
Fall 1990
Mark B. Phillips, University of Richmond

This paper describes a use of Mathematica as an interface to an interactive graphics program. This technique is especially useful in graphics programs that illustrate mathematical concepts, because it allows the user to manipulate mathematical formulas and the graphical objects they represent simultaneously.
