Predicting the three-dimensional structure of a protein from its amino
acid sequence is an important and difficult problem. We present an integrated
approach that uses an artificial neural network to predict the spatial
proximity of the amino acids in the sequence. Mathematica routines
are developed to view the protein structure and to visualize and evaluate
the results of the neural network.
