Notebook Differences

Rolf Mertig (www.mertig.com) suggests the following simple command for doing a side-by-side comparison of two notebooks:

[Graphics:../Images/index_gr_176.gif]
[Graphics:../Images/index_gr_177.gif]

For example, the command

[Graphics:../Images/index_gr_178.gif]

compares the notebooks File1.nb and File2.nb (in the current working directory, as given by Directory) and, by default, writes out all cells of File1.nb which are not in File2.nb to Difference.nb.
