About the Authors

Jerry Glynn and Theodore W. Gray are the co-authors of The Beginner's Guide to Mathematica Version 4, from which this article is adapted. Gray is the principal architect of Mathematica's notebook front end. Glynn, vice-president of MathWare Ltd. (http://www.mathware.com), is a mathematics teacher and a founding co-director of The Math Program (a 23-year-old organization devoted to the teaching of mathematics to students of all ages).
