About the AuthorsProfessor Seth J. Chandler received his J.D. from the Harvard Law School (1983) and his A.B. from Princeton University (Woodrow
Wilson School of Public and International Affairs) (1979). He is now an associate professor of law at the University of Houston
Law Center. A pioneer in the use of Mathematica in the economic analysis of law, he continues his use of this computer system in studies on insurance law and "Foggy Game
Theory".
Professor Christian Jacob received his Ph.D. in computer science from the University of Erlangen-Nuremberg, Germany (1995).
He is now an assistant professor in the Department of Computer Science at the University of Calgary, Canada. He is the author
of two textbooks on evolutionary computation with Mathematica [6, 7]. His current research focuses on recombinations of evolutionary and adaptive swarm intelligence systems.
