Initialization

In this section, we load a number of add-on packages, define auxiliary functions, and set up the environment for C++ code generation.

Load the Control System Professional package.

Load the MathCode C++ package.

Needs["MathCode`"];

Since a number of temporary files will be generated by MathCode C++, we create a temporary directory and set this to the current working directory.

This function will be used to measure the time for external processes. We cannot rely on the Timing command since it includes only CPU time spent in the Mathematica kernel. It does not include time spent in external processes connected via MathLink.Italic

Give the notation for colors.

Set the default color list for multiple plots.

Load the user-defined package that gives improved notation for matrix operations.

Turn off the real-time spell checking.
