The Mathematical Explorer

The Mathematical Explorer is a stand alone software for mathematics hobbyists and people intrigued by mathematics and some of its more challenging topics. It is presented as a set of 15 notebooks, each one covering a different subject, where users can read about the cultural and historical background of each topic and experiment with it.

The software is user friendly, yet professional, and was conceived as a recreational software (as opposed to a purely educational software or a professional tool software, like Mathematica). It is a custom product, based on Mathematica technology. It has a small set of kernel functions enabled, a reduced set of menu items, palettes, documentation and style sheets.
